  Summary

The cast of medieval Merry Men turn out for Atomic Planet's conversion of classic 80s remake for Cinemaware and Capcom.

Defender of the Crown, once a classic 1980s action/strategy game, is now reproduced for a modern gaming market, with new technologies at hand and superb playability the result.

It is a terrible time in England. The rightful King Richard the Lionheart is being held for ransom in a foreign cell, and the evil Prince John has claimed the throne for himself. Civil war ensues, and only Robin Hood - the feared outlaw from Nottingham - can save the day by uniting the people of England and saving them from the tyranny of John.

Join Robin Hood's familiar cast of Sherwood Forest regulars, including Maid Marian, Will Scarlet, Little John, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, Friar Tuck, and many more. Fight in jousts, archery and peasantry. Create fantastic battle campaigns to win over the counties of England.

The original Cinemaware classic, released on the Commodore Amiga in 1986, sold over a million copies.
